I need to recognize Mike’s customer service, flexibility, and great attitude. Needed to get my old Camry smogged for registration, and have been putting it off because of the Covid19 stay at home restrictions. (I had been to Mike’s shop before, so not a new customer). For the time being I’m by myself, my wife having gone to Northern California to help a friend just before the stay in place was announced. Add to that, I’m almost 70, and have multiple high risk health issues, so I was concerned how I could manage to get the car to Mike, get it smogged and an oil change. Right now no one available for transportation so I could drop off the 1998 Camry. Called Mike and after discussion he said he only smogs cars 2000 and newer, but he OFFERED to pick my car up a couple days later, do the oil change and misc., then personally take it to another shop down the street with old car smog equipment. Mike came and picked up my car, quickly texted me a very reasonable quote for the oil change, plus the smog. He got it all handled in a few hours, then we handled payment and invoice over the phone/email to minimize contact. He then brought my car home and dropped it in the driveway where it had been in the morning. All of this was done with a positive and upbeat attitude, while working shorthanded, under difficult circumstances. Can’t say enough about that level of commitment and customer service. Way over and above any reasonable expectation. If I could give Mike 6 stars on a 5 star max rating scale I would. I will most definitely be back, and recommend Mike’s shop to you, and everyone. Fantastic experience!
